A rough, unpolished red jasper from the Northern Cape, sold per piece in stones from about 0.09kg to 0.5kg. The colour is a rich brick-red to terracotta, streaked with fine dark, almost black veins and cracks, and flecked here and there with small patches of silvery-grey and off-white mineral. Some faces carry a slight natural sheen where light reflects.
