We hit the road to source large, high-quality amethyst and quartz crystal clusters directly from the local miners. We started the day with a few phone calls to set up meetings, but when we first arrived, the lack of volume had us worried. Tumbling 12,500 kg of Raw Tigers Eye!
Is it a brilliant business move, or an absolute gamble? 🤔 In this video, I’m taking you back to the exact same yard where I previously sourced 14 tons of rock. This time, I committed to something completely different: acquiring approximately 130 unique gemstone spheres from a factory that just closed down. With an already packed shop, why did I do it? Because every single one of these spheres is a unique geological happening. From incredible banding to rare mineral inclusions, no two are exactly alike. Watch as I wrap, transport, and try to solve a massive logistical puzzle back at the shop. After a serious amount of shuffling and rearranging, I’ve managed to free up enough space to get about two-thirds of them onto the shelves. Will they sell? Will I make a profit? It’s hard to tell, but the sheer beauty of these pieces made it impossible to walk away.
