We hit the road to source large, high-quality amethyst and quartz crystal clusters directly from the local miners. We started the day with a few phone calls to set up meetings, but when we first arrived, the lack of volume had us worried. Thankfully, as the day progressed, word spread, and the stock just kept coming! From wheelbarrows and hand-carried parcels to loaded vehicles, the locals brought out some incredible pieces dug right out of their own backyards. Tumbling 12,500 kg of Raw Tigers Eye!
Is it a brilliant business move, or an absolute gamble? 🤔 In this video, I’m taking you back to the exact same yard where I previously sourced 14 tons of rock. This time, I committed to something completely different: acquiring approximately 130 unique gemstone spheres from a factory that just closed down. With an already packed shop, why did I do it? Because every single one of these spheres is a unique geological happening. From incredible banding to rare mineral inclusions, no two are exactly alike. Watch as I wrap, transport, and try to solve a massive logistical puzzle back at the shop. After a serious amount of shuffling and rearranging, I’ve managed to free up enough space to get about two-thirds of them onto the shelves. Will they sell? Will I make a profit?
